Security Officer Access Authorization

About the role

As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Fort Worth, TX, you will help manage entry points, monitor access, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at entrances, gates, and restricted areas and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.32 / hour

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 10:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
