About the role

Security Officer covers posts such as customer counters, employee entrances, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lots, perimeter, etc. The role involves conducting roving patrols, both on foot and in vehicles, around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards, etc.

Responsibilities

• Identifies fire hazards, unauthorized activity, malfunctioning utilities, and hazardous conditions.
• Performs additional duties related to security of premises as required.
• May be required to perform emergency duties requiring physical exertion such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs., and running.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Physically capable of performing the assigned work.
• Must meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state where the officer's assigned facility is located.
• Must communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
