About the role

The purpose of this position is to support the Administration of Baptist Health South Florida with the provision of a safe and secure environment for the care of patients and the peaceful and orderly operation of business throughout all entities serviced.

Responsibilities

• Support the Administration in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures
• Respond to emergencies and incidents as needed
• Complete BHSF security training program and supplemental training classes

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required
• Basic Life Support certification
• Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial)
• Experience in the security field preferred
• Hospital setting a plus
• Law enforcement or military experience desired

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required
• BLS certification must be obtained within first 90 days of employment

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 / hour depending on experience.
