Responsibilities
- Patrol hotel interior and exterior areas to identify safety hazards or suspicious activity.
- Monitor and report activity using security cameras, maintaining detailed logs of observations.
- Control access at associate entrances, issue and collect visitor passes, and safeguard keys to critical areas.
- Investigate theft, property damage, trespassing, or personal injury incidents and prepare clear, detailed reports.
- Respond to guest disturbances or rule violations, taking appropriate action to maintain order.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire, severe weather, medical, or evacuation situations.
- Manage lost and found inventory and generate associate identification cards.
- Support leadership with additional security-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and tactful in high-stress situations.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and clear written communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
