Security Manager

About the role

Responsible for overseeing all security-related activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Manage security personnel and oversee training programs to ensure staff are competent in their roles.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance physical and digital security measures.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate emergency response plans.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory changes impacting security practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing security operations and responding to crises.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of employees and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

$100,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
