About the job

NVIDIA is seeking a Product Security Lead to develop and lead the security strategy, architecture, and execution for our Tegra system-on-chip (SoC) product line. You will help ensure Tegra-powered mobile, embedded, automotive, and edge-AI devices with high-performance, low-power GPUs and CPUs are built to be secure, resilient in the field, and trusted by customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end security process and strategy with engineering development teams for Tegra SoCs products from architecture to post-release support.
  • Embed security-by-design within Tegra hardware, firmware, boot, and software stacks, ensuring security requirements are defined and met at each lifecycle stage.
  • Perform security assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, security white papers for the supported products.
  • Partner with silicon, manufacturing, and platform security engineering to conceptualize and validate hardware security features.
  • Triage, review, and prioritize security findings. Provide hands-on security engineering expertise across various technology platforms. Assess risk, craft fixes, and implement them with our dev and QA staff.
  • Serve as the primary product security point of contact for various Tegra products with internal collaborators (engineering, program management, legal, customer support) and select strategic customers.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of proven experience in security engineering. At least 3 years focused on product or platform security for sophisticated systems like SoCs, embedded/RTOS, automotive, or edge devices.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and firmware security concepts: secure boot, key management, trusted execution, debug and test-interface security, and silicon root-of-trust.
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant languages, such as C/C++ or Python, is required. Familiarity with embedded or low-level software like firmware, bootloaders, drivers, or RTOS/Linux kernel is also needed.

Ways To Stand Out In The Crowd

  • Hands-on experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle, including threat modeling, code reviews, SAST/DAST, and dependency or container scanning.
  • Background in secure manufacturing and provisioning flows (ATE security, key injection, secure supply chain).
  • Experience securing ARM-based SoCs or GPU/CPU platforms in mobile, automotive, robotics, or edge-AI domains. Prior work with Tegra, Jetson, or similar NVIDIA embedded platforms is a plus!
  • Knowledge of relevant security standards and frameworks (for example, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, or similar, depending on domain).
  • Experience with coordinated vulnerability disclosure programs and working with external researchers.

Benefits

This role extends across multiple teams and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Consistent record to influence and lead various teams would be key to success!
