The Role: Security & IT Manager We’re seeking a Security & IT Manager to develop and maintain Clark’s technology infrastructure and ensure end-to-end security across all systems and processes. In this fully onsite position, you’ll partner with leadership, engineering, and operations to safeguard our data, manage IT operations, and drive a culture of security as we scale. What You’ll Do Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive IT and security frameworksOversee network, system, and endpoint security, ensuring best practices are followedMonitor and assess risks, deploying appropriate safeguards and controlsLead incident response and manage security breach investigationsEnsure compliance with industry regulations and security standardsProvide IT support and hands-on troubleshooting for hardware and software issuesManage vendors and evaluate new technologiesEducate and train Clark team members on security policies and IT protocolsReport on IT and security posture to company leadership Who You Are 3+ years of experience in IT management, security, or a related field, preferably in technology or SaaSDeep knowledge of security best practices, frameworks, and tools (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, cybersecurity principles)Strong technical skills across operating systems, networking, and cloud platformsExcellent communicator, able to explain complex technical matters with clarityProactive, detail-oriented, and highly organizedComfortable thriving in a fast-paced, fully onsite environmentDemonstrates strong ownership and accountability Bonus Experience in high-growth startups or enterprise technology environmentsFamiliarity with regulatory and compliance landscapes impacting AI and SaaSPossession of security/IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) How We Work Fully onsite in NYC, five days a week—no remote or hybridHigh pace, high ownership, with direct access to company leadershipResults-driven culture focused on measurable impact Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equityComprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision coverageUnlimited PTOWellhub Platinum membership (gyms, studios, wellness apps)Dinner provided every night you’re in the officeTop-tier equipment and tools of your choice Clark is an equal opportunity employer.
