Security Integration & Network Specialist - Anchorage

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, integrate, support, and optimize all Security Solutions supported products, technologies, and applications.
  • Provide end-user training on Security Solutions products and technologies.
  • Directly interact with customers, junior field service staff, sales personnel, and management to address and resolve installation, configuration, and operational challenges.
  • Travel to customer sites, remote offices, and various other locations to support customers.

Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree, or a 2-year technical school degree with at least 2 years of networking systems experience.
  • 5 years of experience in IP-based networking and electronic security systems.
  • Strong commitment to quality work, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to safe work practices.
  • Proficient in basic electricity, including AC/DC theory, Ohm's Law, and using a digital volt/ohm meter.
  • Advanced expertise in IP-based physical security systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of IP-based and electronic communication systems.
  • In-depth understanding of network and computer operating systems.
  • Proficient in internetworking devices, techniques, operating systems, and protocols.
  • Skilled in programming, scripting, and integration protocols.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proven ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
  • Familiar with computer drafting software, word processors, and spreadsheets.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.

$30 - $55 per hr. plus potential profit share.
