Security Guard - Warehouse - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an unarmed patrol professional. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, package or trailer yard activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, dock doors, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify approved access for visitors and/or vendors, and follow site protocols for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site personnel regarding security-related matters, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of activity across the location.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
