About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location in Fontana, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site policies.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through required reports and communication channels.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
