Job Description
As a Security Guard Unarmed - Full Time in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Help support orderly operations by communicating professionally with site personnel and reporting maintenance, facility, and security-related concerns to appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
