Security Guard - Swing Shift

About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Driver Patrol in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. This is a driving post, so you may use a vehicle while conducting routine patrols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated checkpoints, verify credentials when required, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
