Security Guard - Retail Mall Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions) in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred.

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Thursday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
