Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned property areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including building exteriors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, property concerns, access-control issues, and/or potential hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
