Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol healthcare facility to prevent and detect security breaches
- Respond to emergency situations and prioritize the safety of patients, staff, and visitors
- Identify and report potential security threats or suspicious activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
- Conduct routine checks of security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and responses
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in security or a related field preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
