Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Position

About the Role

As a Security Guard in a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Position in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by enforcing site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations calmly, following established procedures and notifying leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen (where permitted by law).
• Valid driver’s license (for driving positions only).
• State and/or local licensing requirements may apply.

Pay Rate: $23.68 / Hour
