Security Guard - Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Verification

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part‑Time Unarmed Patrol Driver for badge verification in Ashburn, VA. In this driving role you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security‑related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication at a commercial real‑estate location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site‑specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and alarm or surveillance systems as assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

$23.36 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
