As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, control access, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Prior access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.63 per hour.

Part-time. Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
