As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for passengers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for passengers and personnel.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
