About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

  • Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
  • Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
