About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol Security Guard in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and visitor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
