Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel and guests in accordance with site procedures
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Preferred qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred
