Security Guard Part Time Unarmed

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare collection center environment.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.51 / hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts available
