Security Guard Part Time - Second Shift

About the role

As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to an industrial manufacturing location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Operate access-control systems, gates, and communication equipment; report access concerns, unusual activity, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and assigned facility areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
