About the role
As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol at Allied Universal in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, leasing office surroundings, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
