Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site policies, including verification of required credentials and access authorization.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including day, time, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
