Schedule & Pay

  • Position Type: Part Time
  • Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour
  • Job Schedule:
    • Day: Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
    • Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
    • Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations by observing workplace activity, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders for after-hours coverage, restricted areas, and escalation procedures.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred skills

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
