Security Guard Part Time - Overnight Hours

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control and badge activities, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics facility.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required. Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience may substitute.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Daytime shifts: Monday and Sunday, 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
