What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
