Security Guard Part Time Front Desk Access

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will provide a welcoming presence, manage access control and visitor procedures, monitor alarms and badge activity, and communicate professionally with employees and guests. Your customer-focused approach will help support a secure environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and clients at a front desk within a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor access records.
• Monitor access points, alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with directing visitors, managing incoming calls, and supporting a professional, controlled lobby environment.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.64 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
