As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, perimeter access points, and exterior grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with team members and following Allied Universal and client site reporting procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
