Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle-entry records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe outbound and inbound traffic, report unusual activity, and support orderly movement of people and vehicles throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
