About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, manage access credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, and security-related systems from a stationary front desk post; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying designated contacts.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
