Security Guard Part Time Credentialing

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, issue and collect visitor badges or access devices, and report unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
