About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, greet visitors, and provide clear, professional communication. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to commercial office and business park buildings, parking areas, and restricted spaces; verify credentials and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and site-specific operational needs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
