Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor access points, credential verification, and screening equipment; report irregularities, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter; document observations and complete required reports.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
