Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
