Job Description
As a Security Officer Guard Overnight in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to alarms and/or site concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
