About the role

As a Security Guard New York Licensed Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clinicians while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, credential verification, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
