Security Guard/Maintenance

Job Description

Congratulations on your interest in joining our team at Thunderbird Senior Living! As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Conduct routine security patrols throughout the community during overnight hours.
• Monitor building access, respond to alarms, resident pendants, and report safety or security concerns.
• Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed during overnight hours.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate shift logs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, troubleshooting.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies such as plumbing, electrical, or equipment issues within scope of training.
• Maintain and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
• Absorb and assist with room turns, work orders, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and to work effectively with others.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Trained security officer with a diploma.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills with an orientation to detail.
• Integrity and professionalism.
