About the role

The primary responsibilities for the position of Security Officer include:

• Scheduled locking/unlocking and providing security of University staff.
• Performing requests for access to University facilities.
• Notifying of security and safety deficiencies.
• Providing motorist assistance.
• Assisting with escorts.
• Enforcing parking regulations.
• Controlling traffic for special events.
• Responding as a first responder to fire and burglar alarms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
