About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Detail in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support order at the location through clear communication and consistent application of post instructions.
• Assist with routine site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, while providing courteous assistance to individuals at the location.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Ability to respond calmly and problem-solve in emergencies.
• Attention to detail for monitoring and patrolling.
• Clear communication and consistent application of post instructions.
