About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.15 per hour

Schedule

Full Time. Day shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
