Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol - Overnight

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Guard in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned corporate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and report observations in alignment with our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a corporate and research-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history (required for this position).
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

CPR certification is preferred.

Pay

$23.18 per hour.
