About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support critical operations through clear communication, professional presence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, access concerns, hazards, and maintenance-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with employees, contractors, and visitors.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Pay and schedule

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time, Monday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Wednesday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Thursday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Friday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM.
