As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service.
• Communicate clearly, respond professionally to site needs, and use technology to document observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive workplace environment.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
