About the role
As a Security Guard Full Time Mobile Driver in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring environment while demonstrating integrity, reliability, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as applicable.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; assist with credential verification and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
