Job Description
As a Security Guard - Full Time Hours in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity at the entrance, and support day-to-day security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to combine customer service, communication, and reliability while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, agility, and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor management, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, checking identification and/or credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site policies.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support security-related reporting, log entries, and documentation for daily front desk activity.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and support order at a busy food and beverage location by maintaining awareness of lobby activity and following established post procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
