Security Guard Full Time Command Center

About the Role

As a Full Time Command Center Security Guard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and using technology to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
