As a Security Guard Full Time Building Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help maintain a professional, secure environment while communicating clearly with guests and site personnel. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting a professional front-desk presence at a retail property.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate visitor arrivals or service requests to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems from the front desk, document observations and incidents, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
